About East Three Elementary School

East Three Elementary School operates under the Beaufort Delta Divisional Education Council and provides education from Junior Kindergarten - Grade 6. The school has approximately 60 staff and about 420 students.

East Three Elementary School offers educational programming in Inuinnaqtun and Gwich’in Core Languages, English, and Early French Immersion. The school offers the On the Land learning program year-round, in which students are immersed in land-based learning focused on strengthening ties to their Indigenous languages and cultures.

In August 2022, Connected North was launched in East Three Elementary School, providing two-way connections between educational experiences that interconnect the child’s community and the world at large to help children acquire the skills, knowledge and strength to enable them to assume productive roles as adults.

East Three Elementary School is committed to providing a safe, caring teaching and learning environment. All members of the school community show respect, compassion, and positive engagement to respond to the wellness and learning needs of all students.
